February 2024 Charity Fundraiser for the Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area

online auction

This will be the first auction of 2024 for the Historical Society of Phoenixville & it’s a big one!

Our main goal is to keep the history of Phoenixville alive and share our over 45,000 artifacts with YOU!  You can help by purchasing items, telling friends and family about the auction, and donating items for future sales.

This auction contains a little bit of everything. Some of the Phoenixville highlights are ten lots of Majolica; a miniature version of a Lane cedar chest given by McCarrahers Furniture when a full size chest was purchased; also a reproduction of an 1883 map book of Chester County. Also 2 pews from Central Lutheran Church. One is 11 feet long, the other one is cut down to just over 5 feet. Many other collectible items, antiques and especially older toys are included in this sale. Finally, we are selling off many of the bookshelves and display pieces as construction of a new elevator for our building will begin a few weeks after this auction ends.  No worries – we will still be doing auctions and flea markets but they will be in different locations. I’m sure I have missed some items but make sure you don’t miss any of the 150 lots.

At the conclusion of the sale when you win one or more auctions, you simply pay online, schedule a pick-up time, then come to 204 Church Street (pick-up will be at the front gate on Main Street) at your selected time on Saturday, February 24th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You will be invited up the stairs to pick up your purchase.

If you need an alternate pick-up time or date, call and it can be mutually arranged.  However it will need to be no later than March 1, 2024. (Please call so we do not wait for you on Saturday!)  Call (610) 246-5388 and ask for John.
